For three years now, a strange phenomenon has been occurring at a cemetery in Bombal, on the outskirts of the Argentine city of Rosario: water spilled on the tiled floor begins to move on its own, forming intricate patterns.
This phenomenon was first noticed on October 30, 2022, just before Halloween (October 31) and All Saints’ Day (November 1). A woman cleaning the floor was deeply shocked by the behavior of the spilled water. Almost a year later, on October 23, 2023, the phenomenon repeated itself and occurred again this year on September 6. On other days of the year, the water behaves completely normally.
“At first, we were scared, but then we got used to it,” said one of the cemetery staff members.
Witnesses to the strange behavior of the water claim it is truly something supernatural because the movement was not caused by wind or the slope of the floor. Two staff members also insist this is not a prank.
Moreover, they told journalists that this is not the only paranormal event they have experienced at this location.
“We haven’t seen it ourselves, but our colleagues have observed the following: when the weather is bad, a man in black appears, waves his hand, and walks away,” said two cemetery employees.
