Recently, a video of an unusual dark-blue sphere surfaced on social media. It was reportedly filmed on November 25, 2024, in the sky over Manchester Airport in the UK. Alongside the video, there is also a photograph of the same sphere—this time not in the sky but hovering just a few centimeters above the concrete surface of the airport, close to passenger planes.
The footage and photo have garnered immense interest online. Many users claim this to be some of the best evidence of UFOs in years, primarily because both the video and photos were captured not by random locals but by one of the pilots.
According to this pilot, whose name remains undisclosed, the sphere was first spotted on the ground near the planes. He reported it to Manchester’s air traffic control. When a team of specialists arrived, the sphere ascended into the air, and that is when the video was recorded.
The dark-blue sphere, approximately the size of a small car, does not resemble any known civilian or military drones. Initially, the pilot uploaded the footage and photos to their social media account on the X platform. However, within a few hours, not only were the posts deleted, but the account itself was permanently removed.
Additionally, online sleuths discovered that the official Manchester Airport flight tracking website had been thoroughly scrubbed of all flight records from October and November 2024.
The UK authorities have not issued an official statement regarding the UFO sighting at Manchester Airport. A representative from the airport claimed it was “likely just a helium balloon.”
In recent weeks, the British press has frequently reported on unidentified drones spotted near military bases across the UK.
