On the night of January 1, 2024, something very strange happened near the Bayside shopping center in Miami, USA, which is still being actively discussed online. A few days later, a video surfaced online showing a strange grayish figure near the Bayside mall, illuminated by police spotlights. However, social media erupted with stories about a 3-meter-tall alien, allegedly captured or shot by the police, whose body was quickly removed.
Reports soon followed that multiple unusual figures were spotted in the area, including humanoids as tall as humans, a massive semi-transparent figure, and even something resembling a giant insect.

Officially, local news reported only a group of teenagers with fireworks detained by the police near Bayside. The sounds of the fireworks allegedly frightened passersby, who mistook them for gunshots. Regarding the mysterious “3-meter-tall figure,” the police explained it was just an illusion caused by a shadow. In a clearer video of the supposed alien, it does appear as though a regular-sized person is walking, with a large gray shadow nearby. “There were no aliens. No airports were shut down. Nothing is being concealed from the public. This is all simply ridiculous,” said Michael Vega from Miami Police Public Information Office.
Nonetheless, the public wasn’t convinced, and alien videos, along with eyewitness accounts, continue to flood the Internet, collecting numerous likes and comments.
