Scientists from the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine have stated that they have repeatedly observed unidentified flying objects (UFOs) over Kyiv and the surrounding region. Researchers have detected numerous UFOs from two meteor observation stations in Kyiv and the village of Vynarivka. The relevant data are presented in an article titled “Phenomenon in an unknown locality I. Observations of events.”
“We see them everywhere. We observe a significant number of objects, the nature of which is unclear,” the article states.
It is reported that both solitary objects and groups of UFOs have been recorded. The article describes two different types of UFOs, labeled as “cosmic” and “phantom.”
In the article, a “cosmic” object is referred to as one that emits light, making it appear brighter against the sky. On the other hand, a “phantom” object is described as having an entirely black body that absorbs radiation hitting it.
Furthermore, scientists wrote that they observed objects moving at extremely high speeds. These objects could only be detected using special equipment.
“To recognize an event, four-tenths of a second are needed. Ordinary photos and videos will not capture UFOs. To detect an unidentified aerial phenomenon (UAP), equipment needs to be precisely adjusted: exposure, frame rate, and dynamic range,” the article states.
Researchers claim to have used color video cameras with precisely adjusted shutter speed, frame rate, and range, located at two meteor observation stations.
The article does not speculate on the nature of these objects.
