Pilots report multiple UFO sightings on January 19, 2024

An audio recording has been published featuring several pilots, mostly from passenger airlines, discussing UFOs they observed while flying over Canada. This occurred on January 19, 2024.

“I contacted the company plane over Thunder Bay, and he thinks they might be satellites,” said an air traffic controller from Winnipeg to pilots around 4:45 a.m. local time.

“I’m no expert, but they’re moving side to side, then moving away from each other, and then forming triangles. Doesn’t seem like they’re moving in any orbit. But I’m no expert,” responded an Air Canada pilot flying from Seattle to Winnipeg at the time, who noticed the UFOs over the Canadian province of Saskatchewan.

“Yeah, it’s pretty strange. About six of them just flying in a random formation at high altitude at the 12 o’clock mark,” interjected a pilot from Flair Airlines, en route from Vancouver to Toronto.

“It’s definitely not satellites. It doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen in my 15 years of night flights,” added a pilot from the cargo flight Morningstar Air Express, heading from Calgary to Toronto.

This audio recording lasts for 13 minutes and is compiled from a 2.5-hour recording of pilots’ communications, published on the website LiveATC.net, which broadcasts and archives pilots’ radio communications. The discussion about UFOs among various pilots lasted from approximately 4:20 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

“There’s no active airspace, no military airspace, there’s just nothing out there that we’re aware of. Honestly, I have no idea what it could be,” admitted the air traffic controller in the recording.

At least four aircraft pilots reported seeing strange lights in the sky over Canada that morning. Among them were flights from Flair and Morningstar airlines, as well as two Air Canada flights.

According to their estimates, the UFO lights were moving much higher than them, at an altitude of about 30 km (!), which is beyond the reach of most aircraft, including military ones. Two other crews also reported having similar UFO observations over Canada recently.

“I didn’t see them today (January 19), but we’ve seen those lights somewhere about 18 months or so, just so you know,” reported a Cargojet flight pilot from Hamilton, flying from Ontario to Winnipeg.

“Wow, that’s interesting. I’ve had the same thing, but only in the westward direction, three or four similar cases in the last month or so,” said a WestJet pilot flying from Winnipeg to Toronto.

“I’ve never seen them heading east, only west. And yeah, it was the same: movement everywhere and sometimes they form triangles, sometimes diamonds and squares. They’re bright and just pop up everywhere,” added the Cargojet pilot.

“Sure would be nice to get some answers on this,” inserted another pilot.

Later, it turned out that on the same evening of January 19, some American pilots also observed UFOs in the sky. These conversations are taken from a published audio recording of Memphis Air Traffic Control, USA.

“It’s definitely aliens,” joked one pilot at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

“We’re north of Birmingham, looking west, and seeing a bunch of lights,” another responded.

“You think it’s Starlink satellites?”

“No, I don’t think so. Starlink doesn’t flicker.”

“Wow, yeah! I see it too!”

“What are we looking at?”

“Three of them formed a triangle.”
