A woman from New Jersey saw a huge worm on the road, and a little later, in the same area, she observed a triangular UFO.
A woman named Linda, living in the American state of New Jersey, contacted the paranormal website “A Singular Fortean” to share what she had seen 35 years ago.
According to her, she would have told people about this much earlier if it weren’t for her friends and acquaintances, who mocked her when she tried to share her experience.
This happened in 1989 or 1990 when Linda was driving late at night on a highway after work. Suddenly, she noticed something strange on the road ahead, like something long and coiled up in a ball. From the ball, a “neck” about one meter long was sticking up.
At first, Linda thought it was a snake, but when she slowed down significantly and passed by the object, she took a closer look and saw that it was something very long but flat, and there were two eyes at the end of the “neck.”
The eyes stuck out on the long neck, roughly at the level of the windows in Linda’s car, and overall, the creature resembled a huge flat worm with a translucent body, but “denser at the edges.”
“Since then, I’ve told this story many times to people, but I always got the usual eye rolls. I really saw it, and since then, I fully believe that cryptids can exist and do exist. Now nothing surprises me. This stretch of road always felt strange to me. It was creepy driving on it at night.”
A few days later, in the same area, just a few miles from where she had seen the worm, Linda noticed a huge triangular UFO in the sky. This was at the intersection of Lacey Road and Phillips Road.
“It was barely moving and completely silent. Sometimes its colored lights flashed, and there were several stationary white lights on the bottom of the object. It was triangular in shape, though I couldn’t see its front or back because of the trees on both sides of the road. It was REALLY HUGE.”
Linda could mostly see the bottom part of the UFO when its lights flashed, and she also noticed something like pipes on its underside.
“And then it disappeared. I don’t know how it happened, whether it took off or just dematerialized. Since we were very close to the naval base in Lakehurst, I first convinced myself that it was some kind of experimental military aircraft. Only later did I learn about triangular UFOs. Now I believe that’s exactly what I saw,” she shared.
