“At the Moment of Clinical Death, I Saw How My Soul Lived in the Bodies of Different Aliens”
In 2015, an American woman named Angela Rose Harris shared an extraordinarily unusual near-death experience—one that was unique even among similar accounts.
She worked as a school teacher and at some point began experiencing serious health problems. During one of her hospital visits for a check-up, she suddenly felt extremely unwell, collapsed, and started convulsing. Her breathing and pulse almost disappeared.
At that moment, she had what is known as a near-death experience, but unlike the typical descriptions of flying through a tunnel of light, visiting heaven, or meeting angels, her experience was far stranger.
A Strange Transition
The first thing Angela realized was that she no longer felt any pain, which brought her immense relief. She was filled with peace and serenity. However, she could still sense the grief and sorrow of her husband, who had just witnessed her die before his eyes. She saw how he suffered, how doctors and nurses frantically tried to revive her, how they placed her body on a stretcher.
She had a unique “panoramic view” of everything happening around her. Then, as they wheeled the stretcher away, it seemed to pass right through her as if she were an invisible ghost.
Suddenly, an “entryway” to a new space appeared beside her, and she began to immerse herself in it—a black, velvety void. It was silent, calm, and completely safe.
Meeting Melanie
Out of nowhere, another person appeared next to her—a woman with long dark hair and brown eyes. For some reason, Angela immediately knew her name was Melanie. They walked together and talked as if they were old best friends.
Melanie reassured Angela, explaining that she had just freed herself from her body and was now moving forward. In Melanie’s hands was a book, and although Angela could not see the title, she felt certain that it was the story of her life—everything she had ever experienced.
They emerged from the black velvety space into a soft, white place, as if they had entered an enormous cloud. There, Angela saw many people joyfully welcoming her arrival.
As she looked more closely, she started recognizing some of them—her deceased grandmother and grandfather, aunts and uncles, and a few friends who had passed away. She hugged and kissed them, and everything felt as real as in life.
Glimpses of the Future
In this white space, Angela was also able to see visions of her children’s future. She saw her younger daughter as an adult wearing a white lab coat. Her older daughter, however, suddenly appeared to her as a grown man.
This vision turned out to be true—years later, her eldest daughter came out as transgender and identified as a man.
Angela also realized that Earth was only a temporary home for her soul and that her true “home” was somewhere else entirely.
She somehow gained the ability to travel instantly through space and time, witnessing her past and future lives.
Life as an Alien
At some point, Angela saw herself living on another planet in a completely different body—a blue-skinned being. She found herself standing next to this creature, and it seemed to sense her presence, staring directly at her.
Then she saw herself as an insectoid humanoid, resembling a praying mantis. This being had a rust-colored exoskeleton, large round black eyes that reflected light, a segmented body, and long thin legs. Its arms were tiny, and it had antennae on its face.
Angela had never seen such a strange creature before. She did not communicate with these beings, but simply by looking at them, she understood that all of them were versions of herself in different forms.
A Future Earth
During one of her journeys into the future, Angela saw what humanity would be like after great wars. The Earth’s population had drastically decreased, and people lived in small communities, focusing more on agriculture than advanced technology.
The Return
Finally, Melanie told Angela that people on Earth loved and supported her. Then, her late mother-in-law approached and said she needed to return to take care of her children.
At that moment, Angela woke up in a hospital bed. She realized she was back in her body but did not want to wake up. The other side had been so peaceful and beautiful that she squeezed her eyes shut, hoping to return. But it didn’t work.
This experience completely changed her consciousness. She became more compassionate, loving, and calm, viewing life differently.
Now, she appreciates every walk in the fresh air, every breeze, every chipmunk on a tree. All of these things remind her that we are not just bodies—we are souls within them.
