A Fiery Poltergeist Burns an Elderly Woman in Penza

Researcher of anomalous phenomena, Sergey Volkov, who runs his own channel on Dzen, shared a story about a fiery poltergeist (also known as pyrokinesis) that occurred in Penza in 1992.

Volkov was directly involved in studying this case at the time and also showed video and photo evidence of the aftermath of the Penza poltergeist.

The elderly woman, Valentina Alekseyevna, who was over 70 years old at the time, woke up on the night of December 25th to 26th in her two-room apartment to a strong smell of burning. She lived alone. She got out of bed, walked from the bedroom to the living room, then to the hallway, and finally to the kitchen.

There, she suddenly saw a powerful flame rising from the floor in the middle of the room, resembling a large candle of fire. At the very top of this “candle,” some “protuberances” were swirling.

The elderly woman took off her nightgown and tried to extinguish the fire with it, but it wouldn’t go out. Only when she brought a cup of water from the bathroom and poured it on the “candle” did the fire finally go out.

Later, a burned spot was found on the floor. The burned area (the linoleum and even the floor slab were damaged) was 3.5 cm thick and had formed a crater. The diameter of the crater was 15 cm.

According to the laws of physics, for the fire to cause such damage, it would have had to burn for at least half an hour and spread much wider. But this didn’t happen, which already indicated the anomalous nature of the phenomenon.

An iron could not have caused such a mark because the spot was much larger than the length of the heating element of Valentina Alekseyevna’s iron. Volkov also believes that the fire couldn’t have originated from matches or any other electrical appliance.

Volkov then placed biolocation frames over the spot, and they immediately began to spin rapidly. First, they made nine turns, and then five more.

According to Volkov, the official cause of the fire was never determined, but he believes that it was the work of plasmatic pyrokinesis.

Later, another detail emerged. Valentina Alekseyevna had a severe burn on her back, although she insisted that she hadn’t turned her back directly to the fire. The burn on her back was somewhat similar in shape to the burned spot on the floor. This burn also remained a mystery to the doctors.

After talking with Valentina Alekseyevna, Volkov learned some facts that might have been related to this fiery poltergeist. A year before this incident, the elderly woman had visited her mother’s grave at the cemetery, where she saw strange flashes coming out of the grave. It’s possible that these were plasma formations.

Valentina Alekseyevna had also repeatedly seen her deceased mother in dreams and felt as if something was pushing her. When she woke up, she would see a dark silhouette resembling her mother next to the bed. Then, she would watch as this silhouette moved away from her through the wall toward the living room and disappeared.
