Grandmother Killed a Reptoid and Never Left the House Without a Loaded Gun.
This story was told by an unnamed woman, a cousin of the grandmother who lived on a farm in some rural area of the southern United States, back in the 1950s. One day, this woman visited her elderly grandmother again and asked why she always left the house with a loaded gun and, when resting on the porch, kept it by her side. The grandmother then told her what had happened just a few years before.
One evening, all the animals on the farm seemed to go wild. The dogs started howling, the pigs were squealing, and the other animals were acting very nervous and agitated. The grandmother thought that maybe a predator, possibly a coyote, had wandered onto the farm, so she grabbed her gun and began surveying the property. Then something happened that would change her life forever.
She didn’t notice it immediately, but when she looked toward the pond, she saw something she first mistook for a giant frog standing upright on two legs. The creature was about 160 cm tall, had webbed legs, and was walking quickly toward her. She shouted, “Stop!” but it didn’t listen and kept coming closer. So, she shot at it.
She remembers hitting it, the creature fell, and she noticed that its blood was green. Her husband heard the shot and rushed out of the house. “Look, I think I killed something, it wasn’t human,” the grandmother said to him. Together, they buried the reptoid’s body near the barn.
Afterward, the animals calmed down, but the husband told her not to tell anyone about what happened.
However, the story didn’t end there. A month later, they saw a blue UFO flying over their farm, which landed nearby. From it emerged more creatures similar to the one the grandmother had shot. These beings headed toward the barn, gathered around the burial site, and placed their hands on the ground. Suddenly, the body of the dead reptoid shot up from the ground. It was still dead, but the creatures took it and carried it aboard their ship.
The beings then approached the pond and from the water emerged another ship, probably the one the previous reptoid had arrived in. The pond was deep, like a small lake. The creatures saw the grandmother and grandfather, looked their way, but didn’t approach them or make any contact. They returned to their ship, took the second ship and the body of the dead reptoid with them, and flew away.
After that, the grandmother always carried a loaded gun whenever she left the house, even if she was just going to the chicken coop. She feared that the creatures might return.
