“SIF I HAD KNOWN EARLIER HOW GOOD THIS WAS, I WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN AFRAID OF DEATH,” SAID A DYING PATIENT TO A NURSE

Nurse Julie McFadden had worked in hospice and intensive care for many years and had seen hundreds of dying people, as well as encountered many strange and unexplained things.

She wrote a book about these cases, and we have previously published several stories from it. Here is another one that left a special impression on Judy.

This young patient was dying alone; he had no family or friends, and he was very restless. He also suffered from hoarding and other mental issues.

During his time in hospice, he grew very close to Julie and openly talked to her about the things that scared and troubled him. Then he got very sick, and his time on earth was coming to an end.

Julie assigned a caregiver to watch over him 24/7 and report to her as soon as he passed away.

When Julie left the hospice building after this, she looked at the windows of the patient’s room and felt sad. She mentally said goodbye to this person and walked to her car. But before she could get behind the wheel, something supernatural happened. She heard the patient’s voice in her head.

“And suddenly, in my head, I heard his voice, clear as day, and I felt something. He made me feel this sense of freedom, absolute relief, and excitement… It was like exhilaration and joy.

He was saying my name, repeating: ‘Oh my god, Julie, oh my god, Julie, if only I had known earlier,’ and he kept saying it. And the feeling he gave me makes me want to cry every time I talk about it because it was so strong.”

“If only I had known earlier how good this was, I would never have been afraid,” the patient’s voice told her.

According to Julie, she had often talked to him about death, and he was very anxious and scared about what would happen afterward.

And then it all suddenly ended. Then Julie’s phone rang. It was a message from the caregiver, informing her that the young man had just passed away.

Julie says she immediately thought she knew it beforehand because “he had just shown her.” She admits she didn’t talk about this case for many years, except with her best friend Jenny. Because Jenny knew for sure that Julie wasn’t crazy.

And after this experience, Julie also stopped being afraid of death.
