After dreaming of a naked man, two women realized that it promised good luck, bought lottery tickets, and won big.
Two unnamed young women from Thailand each won 6 million baht (about $170,000) after correctly interpreting a dream that one of them had.
One of the women had a dream about a very “hot” naked man, with the focus of the dream on his genitalia.
The next morning, she shared the dream with her best friend, and they began searching online dream dictionaries to interpret the dream.
They read that such a dream is a harbinger of something very favorable and promising good luck. So, they decided to try their luck with a lottery ticket. The ticket won them the top prize, 6 million baht each.
The women reportedly decided to use the money to pay off their student loans.
Interestingly, last year a couple from Thailand also won a large sum of 24 million baht, and they believe it happened because of a statue of a deity in the courtyard of their small private restaurant.
The statue depicts Por Pu Sian Anan Nakharat, a character from Thai folklore, and is shaped like a long golden penis.
They placed the statue in their courtyard when they felt that luck had turned away from them and that it needed to be begged for with prayers. Each morning, the wife prayed to the statue for good luck, and she often won the lottery afterward. However, before the recent win, the amounts were small.
To celebrate their win, the couple held a big party and honored the deity’s statue, placing donation boxes beside it and hiring 50 dancers for a festive performance.
