A video has gone viral on Mexican social media, claiming to capture the ghostly figure of a child at a cemetery.
The video is of very poor quality, and it’s hard to make out details because it was filmed from a great distance and then zoomed in.
It is claimed that the strange figure, the size of a child, was seen running near the entrance to the cemetery chapel around 9:30 PM, even though the cemetery is securely closed every day at 6:00 PM.
People immediately speculated that a child, most likely a girl from a troubled family, had climbed into the cemetery late at night, squeezing through the bars of the fence.
However, the cemetery’s security—who filmed the video—claims that they only managed to capture the figure for a few seconds before it disappeared without a trace.
The cemetery is located in the municipality of Santiago Miahuatlán, Puebla. The video was recorded on August 8, 2024. Locals insist that the cemetery does indeed close at 6 PM and that security thoroughly checks to ensure no one is left on the premises.
