A resident of Colombia posted a video online (see below) of a mysterious incident that he said occurred a few days ago in his hometown (unnamed).
A mysterious object (it is still unclear whether it was an item or a living creature) flew at high speed into the open door of a house and knocked down a man standing at the entrance. The impact was so strong that the man was thrown outside and fell near the steps.
Upon falling, he sustained rather severe cuts, requiring him to be taken to the hospital, where he received 24 stitches.
The incident was captured on a surveillance camera, and the recording was repeatedly viewed in slow motion, but even then, it remained entirely unclear what the fast-moving object was.
Skeptical internet users believe that the description of the video is fabricated, and the footage simply shows the flight of an insect that coincidentally coincided with the body of the man falling out of the door.
Others are convinced that something truly strange happened here. Firstly, the man is thrown out of the door with such force, it looks as if he was hit by a car moving at speed, and he falls as if several bones are broken.
Secondly, a few seconds before the mysterious object flew by, a white light flashes in the window of a parked car, suggesting that it could have been the reflection of this flying object. Therefore, it could not have been just an insect flying past the camera.
One user reasonably noted that it would be better if this video were fake; otherwise, he finds the whole thing very unsettling.
In the comments on this video, the person who posted it wrote that the injured man in the video claims he doesn’t remember what hit him.
The author also reported that the house where it all happened is about 400 meters from the road. So, it couldn’t have been an object like a wheel accidentally flying off a truck. And nothing unusual was found in the house after the incident.
