The incident occurred on April 21, 2024.
A 25-year-old driver of a Skoda was driving at night along a rural road near the village of Jastrzygowice when, for an unknown reason, he suddenly veered off the road and crashed into a tree. He died instantly.
The very first photo in the news report shows the wrecked car, with only one side panel remaining intact, while other parts were scattered around. Some fragments even fell into a pond or swamp that begins immediately beyond the roadside.
And in the bushes in this swamp, something murky is sticking out—something suspiciously resembling… a human head.
A user posted these photos on Reddit and asked others what they thought it was. A ghost or pareidolia? Or just some kind of reflection from the headlights?
It doesn’t seem to resemble the 25-year-old deceased driver, as the “head” appears to be that of an older person, possibly even an old man. On the other hand, there is no photo of the deceased driver in the news, so maybe it really is his ghost.
Interestingly, while there are many photos in the article, only two show the car from the same angle, making the bushes visible. In one, the “ghost’s head” can be seen, but in the other (which is below), there is nothing unusual in the bushes.
A chilling theory: What if the strange accident happened precisely because of this ghost? Maybe the young driver saw this “person” on the road and, in an attempt to avoid hitting them, swerved and crashed into the tree?
It would be interesting to learn the history of this place. Perhaps someone else died there before…
