Occultism of the Third Reich: Under Göring’s House, Dismembered Remains of Five Human Victims Found

For many years, archaeologists have been working in the ruins of Wolf’s Lair (Wolfsschanze) – a complex of Nazi bunkers and fortified buildings in the forests of Görlitz (now part of Poland).

This place is often referred to as the Fuhrer’s headquarters because from June 21, 1941, to November 20, 1944, Adolf Hitler directed the attack on the USSR from here.

The Nazis abandoned this place in January 1945, as the Soviet army was approaching the Görlitz forest. Before leaving, they planted numerous explosives to destroy the bunkers and buildings, so when Soviet soldiers arrived, almost everything had already burned down and was destroyed.

Today, there is a museum located here, visited by many tourists, as well as groups of German and Polish amateur archaeologists. They still find various household items here, such as utensils or tools.

In February 2024, they were excavating in the brick ruins of former Hermann Göring’s house (one of Hitler’s closest associates), and when searching for nails in the remains of the wooden floor, they suddenly came across a human skull. They called the police, who began excavating at the site, and since then, they have discovered the remains of five people – three adults, a teenager, and an infant.

It is reported that no clothing traces were found near the bodies, indicating that the people were either stripped before or after their murders. Also, all of them lacked hands and feet, indicating that the bodies were dismembered.

But what surprised and frightened the police the most was that heaps of human bones lay around – these were fossilized remains of prehistoric belemnite squids, resembling conical teeth. In Europe, they are called “thunderstones,” and in Russia, “devil’s fingers.”

Europeans believed that these stone cones remained after lightning strikes and endowed them with supernatural properties. It was believed that carrying such a stone would help win battles and generally bring luck.

And if you keep such stones in the house, it would protect the house from lightning strikes.

According to archaeologist Octavian Bartoshevsky, one of those who found the first skull, these bodies might have been intentionally placed under the floor as part of a ritual to ensure the success and prosperity of the house’s inhabitants.

“Göring and other Nazis believed in the occult, so perhaps these people were sacrificed. Such a find gives you goosebumps,” he said.

The investigation into this case is still ongoing, but the version that a black magic ritual was conducted here doesn’t seem far-fetched. The top echelon of the Third Reich and Hitler himself were indeed obsessed with everything supernatural.

For example, in the Fuhrer’s personal library, there was a book from 1924 called “Magic: History, Theory, Practice,” written by Ernst Schertel, an eccentric sadomasochist. In this book, there are the following underlined lines. Perhaps Hitler underlined them himself: “Satan – impregnating, destructive-creative warrior” and “one who does not carry demonic seeds within himself will never give life to a new world.”

In 1935, the head of the SS, Heinrich Himmler, created a special department for witches. 17 employees of this department found and studied thousands of medieval protocols from the time of the “witch hunt” to prove that these “wise women of pure German blood” were tortured to death by a “Jewish-Catholic conspiracy.”

At a conference in Stuttgart in 1938, Himmler announced that they had found out that about 500 thousand witches had been burned in total. Also, during these investigations, Himmler collected a library on occult sciences consisting of 13 thousand volumes. It was the most complete collection of books on witchcraft in history.

It is also known that the Fuhrer was keenly interested in astrology, and he had a personal astrologer, Wilhelm Wolf, who was later replaced by the Swiss Karl Kraft. It is believed that it was he who warned Hitler in 1939 about an assassination attempt, and Hitler left the beer hall before a bomb exploded, killing seven people.
